Aava Mobile’s hardware-enhanced ‘Virta Android SDK’ will speed development of Google’s Android applications specifically for x86 smartphones and tablets running the newest Intel® Atom™ Z6xx Series processors, previously codenamed “Moorestown”.

Aava Mobile announced the new SDK in time for Computex 2010. The Virta Android is a fully functioning x86 smartphone that comes pre-loaded with a tailored Android SDK ported to Intel Atom processors.

Virgin Mobile USA gets Opera Mini mobile browser for the web that allows people to surf the web on their mobile phones fast and intuitively. Opera Mini will be available as a free application download on select devices for Virgin Mobile USA prepaid customers via the VirginXL download storefront. In the future, Opera Mini will come pre-installed on selected Virgin Mobile USA handsets.

Domino’s Pizza beams mobile coupons with Air2Web’s mobile services. Domino’s Pizza (NYSE: DPZ), the recognized world leader in pizza delivery, to be the sole mobile services provider for Domino’s new mobile coupon campaign management platform.

Domino’s sends coupon codes to opted-in consumers via text message. Customers can use the coupons when they place orders online in English and Spanish by visiting www.dominos.com or from a Web-enabled cell phone by visiting mobile.dominos.com.

Ringtones just got personal. New mSpot.com’s mobile editing tool gives music fans the ringtones they want. To make things really sweet for your cell phone, mSpot kicks off mobile software launch with ringtone giveaway. How does it work? Users pick a song from mSpot’s catalog of over 400,000 titles, and use the site’s simple editing tool to drag the start and end points to capture up to 30 seconds of their favorite part, even adding an optional fade in and out feature at each end if they like.
